Donna was looking for a change of lifestyle and found one when she took the opportunity to join Adventure Bound Camping Resorts in Gatlinburg in March 2007. Prior to accepting the position, Donna was the Assistant Manager at Cherrystone RV Resort on the Eastern Shore of Virginia for 3 years and prior to that she was the Recreation Director for 6 years. She has a degree in Recreation Management from Western Michigan University.

"It's a very relaxing atmosphere," says Donna. According to her, the best part of the Gatlinburg Park is the natural beauty of the property with its large shady trees, two mountain creeks and a stocked trout pond. "It’s the perfect family oriented Smoky Mountain Retreat!"

Local attractions, including the amusement facility, Dollywood, keep campers busy and having fun. “Vacation packages are offered to suit any family’s needs” says Donna. “We really want to be the resort that families may count on to offer the best family vacation packages and values!." An abundance of campers come from all around the world to visit the Smoky Mountains National Park, which surrounds the campground!

When Donna is able to take a bit of spare time, she enjoys traveling, movies, reading, water sports and visiting with friends.
